Why Capital training courses are a must!
We could go on and on about our training courses, but sometimes, it’s good to let the students do the talking. Here Ruth, of Beauty By Ruth, a qualified Level 3 Beauty/Holistic Therapist, shares her insights from our Acrylic nail course. Why did you book the Acrylic Nail course?
I booked the course as I'm already qualified in manicures and gel nails and wanted to go that step further. Nails are so popular in the industry and I wanted to be able to offer another service to benefit my own business.
How has the course helped you with your everyday work since you completed it?
Since doing the Acrylic nail course it has proven to be a great advantage for both myself and my clients. Acrylics are long-lasting, more durable and can be maintained at home.
What was the most useful tip/advice you were given on the day?
The best advice given to me on the day was when we were shown how to stick a tip on the natural nail in the correct way, by holding the tip at a 45 degree angle to the nail plate, then sliding the tip forward until the natural free edge clicks snugly against the stop point of the tip. Doing this prevents any air bubbles getting under the tip.
Who would you say this course is ideal for?
Anyone who is creative and has a flare for nails.
Has the course helped with confidence, or ideas?
It’s boosted my confidence a lot. I'm now a lot faster at the application of acrylic nails and it’s given me the motivation to look at other nail tech’s nail art and give them a go myself.
How was it on the day?
The girls on the course were lovely; they made my two days less nerve-wracking as I'm not a very confident person!
Will you be booking in for another course?
The Acrylic nail course was my first ever course I've been on and it definitely won't be my last! I loved every minute of it and will be booking more courses as it helps keep you updated in the beauty industry.
Thinking about upgrading your skills in nails, hair or beauty? Right now you can take 10% off any courses booked in January and February - so there's never been a better time to learn! More details here.
