The man who makes the stars beautiful joins Macadamia

Celebrity and editorial hair stylist Giannandrea has one mission – to make women beautiful. Now he has joined forces with top hair care brand Macadamia as its International Creative Director.

Represented by the internationally-renowned Wall Group agency, Italian hairdresser Giannandrea is the man behind a multitude of stunning glossy magazine covers the world over, and is also responsible for some of our favourite Oscars hair wins – remember Chrissy Teigen’s tumbling waves?

Since starting his hair career at the age of 14, Giannandrea has always been inspired by glamorous women: his first clients were local Italian singers, and today, the likes of Drew Barrymore and Naomi Watts sit in his styling chair.

A signature look from Giannandrea has to be the texture he creates, and there are few product ranges that focus as much on texture as Macadamia does. With a new range from the hit brand set to arrive in Capital stores any day now, we think this is a brilliant pairing! Giannandrea has been using the range backstage at the recent New York Fashion Week, and says that his goal is to, 'bring my international experience from working backstage, on-set to the Macadamia brand'.

The new range from Macadamia is all about offering a prescriptive solution to every client's hair needs. There are three curated Care and Treatment collections that infuse the optimal moisture level into each hair texture: Weightless Moisture (perfect for baby fine to fine hair), Nourishing Moisture (for medium to coarse hair) and Ultra Rich Moisture (for very coarse to coiled hair).
