Blorange is the new black
The blorange hair colour trend is taking social media by storm! This sweet shade, named after its hybrid of blonde and orange and taking fruity inspiration from the blood orange, has been named the hair colour of 2017 by BuzzFeed. This pastel trend, originally seen on Georgia May Jagger in 2016, is a dreamy and flirtatious mix of peach, pink, blonde and orange. One of the best things about this hair colour is that it looks great on just about everyone!
Celebrities are embracing blorange hair in all its shade variations, from pretty peach pastel to fiery burnt orange. Super versatile, it can be adapted for each client’s skin tone and works equally well for short, medium or long hair, no matter what texture.
If you have a curious client who’s worried about committing to full blorange, fear not. Balayage and ombre look just as stunning and create a bespoke look for your client. Need to brush up on these colouring skills? Our Ombre, Balayage, Freehand Painting and Colour Trend Techniques course offers hands-on training to create ultimate colour results and revive colour services in your salon with trend-lead colour application.
Make sure to sell your clients a good colour protecting shampoo and conditioner to keep their blorange bright. We love the L'Oréal Professionnel Serie Expect Vitamino Color range, specifically designed for coloured hair to prolong colour radiance with a lightweight film that repels water, protects colour and enhances shine.
