Salary circa £50K

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5.00pm

37.5 hours per week

Who are we?

We’re the UK and Ireland’s largest independent wholesaler, a family business and trusted supplier in the hair, nail and beauty industry for over 70 years, with a Capital team of circa 550 colleagues. We operate in 60 stores across the UK and Ireland with a growing ecommerce website, we sell top range brands such as Olaplex, L’Oreal, Redken, Schwarzkopf, OPI, Sienna X, Babyliss and many more, for professionals in the industry.

The Role:

Due to recent business expansion, including acquiring the Schwarzkopf brand, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Warehouse Manager at our location in Limerick.  

Currently reporting to the UK Exec team and working collaboratively with the Store Manager, you’ll have responsibility for overseeing all logistics functions within the Warehouse, ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently.

Key Duties:

  • Overall responsibility for all warehouse functions, coordinating goods in, accurate storage, picking and order dispatch.
  • Responsible for ensuring ecommerce orders and store transfer orders are efficiently shipped on time, working to agreed KPI’s and transfer schedules.
  • Responsible for resolving any pick issues/stock shortages, to avoid order delays and ensuring stock issues are resolved for future picks.
  • Managing staff dynamically to manage bottle necks/back logs in certain processes/busy days.
  • To proactively raise and maintain the highest standards within the warehouse.

 

We also expect you to be a team player who will get involved in other elements of work in the office, if required, so flexibility and adaptability are essential qualities for you to succeed, enjoy your working day and develop.

Who are you?

You are looking for your next career move & challenging opportunity in warehouse management who will have:

  • Experience within a similar role (essential)
  • Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of core warehouse and stock control functions.
  • Methodical process driven approach.
  • A high level of experience and knowledge with WMS systems with an intermediate to advanced level of IT skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and a drive to do things right and reinforce company processes within the team.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A hands-on approach within the warehouse, leading my example to drive general standards.
  • Experience in managing and recruiting a team.
  • Able to demonstrate previous experience implementing improvements and identifying areas to improve efficiency and standards.
