Do I have to pay in full in advance for my course place?
We currently don’t offer any payment plans and require the course fee to be paid in full when you book. We do not accept deposits or ILA/ITA funding. We cannot reserve your place on the course unless you have paid.
Do I need insurance to work in the Hair & Beauty industry?
It is your responsibility to check with your potential/existing insurance provider and/or county council to ensure you are able to gain your public liability, business insurance and any council license requirements before booking a training course through Capital Hair & Beauty Ltd. Salon Gold insurance for hair, beauty and holistic or complementary therapy will cover you perfectly, whether you run a salon or work on a freelance basis as a hairdresser, therapist or nail technician. For more information, please visit our insurance page.
Is there a minimum age for Capital Training course?
All students taking part in our training courses must now be 18 years of age or over (as of 14/01/2019). In the past we have accepted some 16 and 17 year olds, but our training supplier’s insurance policy has changed and they cannot accept any students under 18 under any circumstances. ID will be checked and students will be turned away if they are not old enough. Even if the customer has their own insurance, the educator is not covered to teach students under 18 so the certificate and accreditation will be invalid.
