To help ensure that our industry professionals are fully protected as we start to re-open our salons and barbershops Denman are partnering up with suppliers who can help us to deliver face guards exclusively to the Hair & Beauty Industry. Our UK manufacturing division has secured the contract to manufacture the Hero Shield visor which is fully CE approved. As well as supplying over 1 million of these life-saving visors to the NHS we are making these available to our industry.

Assembly
- Peel away any film attached to the shield component. Film may be on both sides of the shield material.
- Attach the shield to the visor band working from one outside corner to the last corner and securing all 4 holes in place on the off-stands of the visor brim
- Feed the ball chain through the key-hole from above and adjust to fit comfortably - do not overtighten (for your comfort)
Use and Care Instructions
The HeroShield is intended to be worn by Health Care Professionals to protect the face from liquid splashes and bodily fluids when treating infectious patients. It is not designed to prevent acute respiratory infections (ARIs) or to protect from impacts.
It is highly recommended that eye protection and a FFP3 Respirator are used with the Hero Face Shield when appropriate to protect against respiratory infections or diseases which may be present. The user should follow all safety protocols as recommended by their specific organisation during all Aerosol Generating Procedures (AGP).
The visor can be used as short-term wear of up to 8 hours. A reused headband should be used by the same person only. Do not share or reuse headbands between different people under any circumstances.
Maintenance and Servicing:
low risk use
HeroShield can be disinfected with alcohol wipes or isopropyl alcohol. The headband component can be disinfected with boiling water if other methods are unavailable.
For NHS / high risk use
The band and visor may be sterilised for reuse by appropriate hospital (low temperature) procedures. Alternatively, HeroShield can be incinerated/ disposed with medical waste.
For storage at room temperature
